Jessica joined the American Samoa office of MWS Rose in 2017, where she focuses on assisting both on- and off-shore companies pursue business ventures and defend legal disputes in the territory. Jessica assists individual and corporate employers with immigration matters, foreclosures, insurance litigation, workers compensation, maritime law, commercial leases, business licensing, torts and personal injury litigation, and legal concerns related to administrative and municipal law.
Prior to joining MWS Rose, Jessica practiced insurance law with Carey Perkins, LLP (now Perkins Mitchell Pope & McAllister LLP), where she specialized in insurance coverage litigation and the defense of insurance bad faith claims. Jessica also spent several years working for Idaho’s largest law firm, Hawley Troxell Ennis & Hawley LLP, where she was a member of the firm’s employment law group, assisting corporate clients with various labor and employment law concerns such as employment policies, employee handbooks, and defending wrongful termination and wage and hour claims.
Before entering private practice, Jessica was a judicial law clerk to Justice Daniel Eismann of the Idaho Supreme Court. Prior to law school, Jessica was the Communications Director for the NASA Idaho Space Grant Consortium, bringing NASA programs to the state of Idaho.
